Newton8 Whitney (Nathan7, Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Nancy (Farwell) Whitney, was born, 22 Jul 1820, Harvard, MA,[1] or 2 Jul 1820,[2] or 26 Jul 1820.
He married firstly, 6 Jan 1848, Hampton Falls, NH, Mary Preble White.[3] She was born 2 Jul 1829,[4] and died 9 Aug 1849, West Springfield, MA,[5] or Cabotville, Chicopee, MA, aged 20 years, of cholera. She was buried in Cabotville Cemetery.[6]
He married secondly, 10 May 1868, Chicopee, MA [also recorded in Holyoke, MA], or 24 May 1868, South Hadley, MA, Mary L.
