Justin7 Whitney (Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Salmon6 and Hepzibah (Raymond) Whitney, was born 24 Jul 1801, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 7 Aug 1862, Leominster, MA, aged 61 years 13 days, of consumption.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 20 Oct 1827, Harvard, MA, for him and Mary Colton "of Boxborough".[3] He married, 7 Nov 1827, Boxborough, MA, Mary Cushing Cotton[4], daughter of Josiah and Temperance (Otis) Cotton. She was born 15 Sep 1806, Boston, MA, and died 25 May 1891, Worcester, MA, aged 85 years 8 months 10 days, of a fibrous tumor.[5]
He was born in Harvard where he resided nearly all his life, was a farmer and lived on the farm, which tradition says, was originally purchased of the Indians. He resided Harvard and Leominster, MA.
