Henry Mason8 Whitney (David7, Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of David7 and Sarah (Wilson) Whitney, was born 19 Jan 1807, Clarendon, VT, and died 12 Nov 1878, Hampden, OH, aged 71 years. He was buried in Hambden Township Cemetery, Hambden, OH.[1]

He married, 4 Jul 1837, Rochester, NY, Maria A. Wood, daughter of John Wood. She was born 31 Dec 1812, and died after 1900.
