Calvin8 Whitney (John Rodman7, William6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of John Rodman7 and Catherine (Schoonover) Whitney, was born 30 May 1815, NY and died 24 Jul 1892.
He married, 5 Sep 1844, Lorain Co., OH, Emma Lucy Morse, his second cousin, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Lucy7 (Whitney) Morse, and granddaughter of Joshua6 and Hannah (Green) Whitney. She was born 16 Mar 1818, Binghamton, NY, and died 25 Nov 1859, Camden, OH, aged 42 of dropsy.[1]
He came to Camden in 1834.
