Brooke Whitney, son of Geoffrey Whitney, b. say 1550, living in 1600, of Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

He married 11 July 1585, St. Botolph Bishopsgate, London, Magdalen/Mawdlen Stacey.

He lived in Hanborough, Oxfordshire, England.

He wrote his will 27 Jul 1624, and it was proven 16 Nov 1624.

Children of Brooke Whitney, order uncertain:

i. Walter Whitney, according to his father's will, resided for many years at the farm called "Yarkes" in West Hagbourne, England.
ii. Henry Whitney, b. ca. 1588.
iii. Brooke Whitney
iv. Samuel Whitney. Was he perhaps the Samuel Whitney who was apprenticed to Mark Humble and made free 16 Apr 1619, described as a pointmaker and mentioned as being "In Virginia"?
v. Geoffrey Whitney
vi. Elizabeth Whitney, m. before 1624, William Terrold / Tyrold. William served as executor for his father-in-law's will.
vii. Ruth Whitney, m. before 1626, ----- Weller.
viii. Joanna Whitney, m. before 1626, ----- Smith.

Note: Jeffrey Whitney (s1635-?) was probably a grandson.
