Benjamin Franklin7 Whitney (Palmer6, Joseph5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), son of Palmer6 and Judith (Barber) Whitney, was born 19 Oct 1818, Java, NY, and died 1903, Coin, IA.

He married, 20 Nov 1840, Java, NY, Lucinda Potter. She was born 21 Nov 1821, NY, and died after 1900, Coin, IA.

He was born in Java Village, NY, and has always lived upon a farm. Followed agricultural pursuits in Illinois until he moved to Coin. Resided Coin, Page County, IA.
