Aaron Whitney ([poss.] Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), parentage conjectured, was born 10 Sep 1774, Lewiston, ME, and died 1848, Guilford, ME.
Intentions of marriage were published 25 Apr 1799, Lewiston, ME, for him "Mr." "of Bowdoin" and "Mrs." Betsey Hildreth "of Lewiston".[1] He married, about 1799, Betsey Hildreth. She was born 10 Sep 1774 (as recorded), Lewiston, ME, and died 17 Aug 1819, Guilford, ME.
He married, second, 8 Sep 1822, Guilford, ME, Mary (Crockett) Doble. She was born 1 Jun 1781, Gorham, ME (or 6 Jun 1782, Sumner, Cumberland Co., ME, d. Feb 1825 - IGI). She married firstly, 24 Sep 1800, Sumner, ME, Phinehas Doble.
