He married firstly, 27 Dec 1841, Brattleboro, VT, Mary L. Hunter.[2] She was born about 1822, Montague, MA, and died between 1870 and 1880, MI.

He married secondly, 23 Jan 1873, Monroe, Monroe Co., MI, Sarah Saulsbury. She was born about 1837, Harrington, MI, and died after 1880.

He was a grantee in 1816-1847, and a grantor in 1847, New Salem, MA.[3]
