Warren8 Whitney (John7, John6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of John7 and Lois (Amidon) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1806, Readsboro, VT,[1] and died after 1880.

He married firstly, say 1831, Lorinda N. Austin, daughter of Pardon and Ann (Owen) Austin. She was born about 1811, NY and died after 1860.

He married secondly, 25 Sep 1869, Fond du Lac, WI, Mary E. (Elston) Harrington, daughter of David and Eliza (Root) Elston. She was born about 1833, Medina Co., OH, and died after 1880. She had married firstly, before 1855, Coleman Harrington, from whom she seems to have been divorced, since both remarried. She apparently married thirdly, ----- Walcott, and then fourthly, 23 Jun 1898, Necedah, WI, Richard E. Klett. On 14 Feb 1912, she filed for a widow's pension based on Richard E. Klett's service, Application No. 980,415, Certificate No. 743,196.
