Wade H. Whitney (Aaron, Joseph), son of Aaron and Rachel (Poindexter) Whitney, was born ca. 1827, or 15 Oct 1812, MO, and died 29 Nov 1903, Salem, NE. He was buried in Maple Cemeterry, Salem, NE.[1]
He married 25 Sep 1853, Holt Co., MO, Melissa Combs[2], daughter of John and Susan (Jones) Combs[3] and step-daughter of Wade's brother Thomas Whitney. She was born 1834, KY, and died after 1860.
He married secondly, about 1865, Nancy Mariah Boyd. She was born 15 Dec 1845, Rushville, IL, and died 2 Jun 1917. She was buried in Maple Cemeterry, Salem, NE.[4]
