William Scott Whitney (George W., George W.), son of George W. and Katherine (Cunningham) Whitney, was born 6 Jan 1870, OH, and died 10 Apr 1920, Dunkirk, NY.[1]

He married firstly, Mertie S. -----. She was born about 1871, and died after 1905.

He married secondly, 16 Jun 1917, Dunkirk, NY, Ruth Emma Ludwig.[2]
