Family:Whitney, Ebenezer (1818-a1880)

Ebenezer⁸ Whitney (Ebenezer⁷, Ebenezer⁶, Ebenezer⁵, Ezekiel⁴, Ebenezer³, Richard², John¹), son of Ebenezer⁷ and Anis (Kingsbury) Whitney, was born 16 May 1818, Millbury, MA.

He "of Windham" married firstly, 1 Jan 1844, Mansfield, CT, Lucinda Brown "of Mansfield".^[1] She was born about 1825, CT, and died before 1860.

He married, between 1860 and 1870, New York, NY, Eliza Ann Robinson. She was born 20 Sep 1820, Ireland, and died after 1880.

Ebenezer Whitney united with the First Congregational church, New Britain, CT, 5 Jun 1853. Acted as chorister in our choir for several years with good success. He also taught singing in the reform school, Meriden, CT, and later, in 1861, was connected with the reform school in Providence, RI; resided Patchogue, Long Island, NY.
