Family:Whitney, Sarah (1769-1846)

Sarah⁶ Whitney (Aaron⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), daughter of Aaron⁵ and Anna (Lawrence) Whitney, was born 23 May 1769, Harvard, MA, and died 17 May 1846, Templeton, MA, aged 78 years, of old age.

She married, 10 Apr 1787, Harvard, MA, Eleazer Davis, son of Abel and Ruhamah⁵ (Whitney) Davis. He was born 5 Aug 1766, Harvard, MA, and died 11 Apr 1830, Templeton, MA, aged 64 years [sic].

iii.	Drusilla Davis, b. 17 Jul 1791; d. 19 May 1805, Harvard, MA, aged 58 years, unmarried, of cancer.
iii.	Abel Davis, b. 6 Feb 1794; m.(1) 20 Nov 1823, Templeton, MA, Lucy Partrige; m.(2) (int. 27 Oct 1847, Templeton, MA), Philena Clark "of Hubbardston".
iv.	Alice Davis, b. 4 Apr 1796.
v.	Nathan Davis, b. 6 Mar 1799; m. 6 Aug 1817, Framingham, MA, Hannah Pratt.
vi.	Candace Davis, b. 18 Aug 1801; m. 28 Apr 1835, Templeton, MA, Hosea Butterfield "of Greenwich".
vii.	Sumner Davis, b. 2 Apr 1804; d. 27 Aug 1847, Templeton, MA, farmer, married, aged 43, of liver complaint; m. 23 Jan 1835, Templeton, MA, Susan Parker "of Hubbardston".
viii.	Lucy Davis, b. 15 Oct 1806; m. 26 Jun 1835, Templeton, MA, Joseph Baker.
ix.	Adaline Davis, b. 20 Mar 1809; m. 24 Dec 1829, Templeton, MA, Lowell T. Burridge.
x.	Aaron Whitney Davis, b. 10 Oct 1811; d. 19 Nov 1864, Templeton, MA, aged 52 years, married, of chronic inflammation of bowels and cholic, blacksmith; m. ----- -----.
