Jonah6 Whitney (Daniel5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Katy (Stone) Whitney,[1] was born 3 Sep 1772, Shrewsbury, MA,[2] and died 1837.
He married, 1802, Sarah Wilder, of Wilmington, VT.[3]
Both are buried in the Doran Cemetery, between Madrid and Potsdam, NY.
He came to St. Lawrence Co. in 1808, where his father had settled about 3 years previous; had seven children, of whom the fifth was Daniel.[4]
