Thomas Whitney, was born say before 1779, and died sometime after 1800.
Fayette County, Kentucky Thomas Whitney, early cabinet maker, native of Ireland, advertised a house for sale in 1795. He continued in the cabinet- making business through 1806, when his shop was on Main Street. Book 49, P 345.[1]
From the State Archives, Page 52, among expenditures 1792-1798, was one for Thomas Whitney, 1794, as one of the veneremen.[2]
