Joshua Whitney (Joshua, Joshua, Joshua, David, Samuel), was born circa 1778, Virginia, and died after 1830, Virginia.

He was b. 7 Feb 1829, d. 5 Aug 1901. - Ch: Charles Linwood Corbitt, b. 21 Oct 1862; Maggie Corbitt, b. 21 Jan 1866; Martha (Mattie) Sarah Corbitt, b. 25 Apr 1867; d. 5 Apr 1957; James Howard Corbitt, b. 29 Apr 1869; Nathaniel S. Corbitt, b. 29 Apr 1869.[1]
