Newton8 Whitney (Nathan7, Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Nancy (Farwell) Whitney, was born, 26 Jul 1820, Harvard, MA.[1]

He married firstly, 1848, Hampton Falls, NH, Mary P. White. She was born 1829, and died 9 Aug 1849.

He married secondly, 1868 Mary L. Hayward.

He is a farmer; resided Chicopee, MA, P.O. Box 60.

Children of Newton8 and Mary P. (White) Whitney:

i. Myron B.9 Whitney, b. 11 Apr 1849; m. 4 Sep 1887, Saint Anthony Park, MN, Henrietta H. Gould, b. 8 Oct 1858; res., s.p., at Saint Anthony Park. He is a carpenter and builder.
