He was born 9 Apr 1731, Hopkinton, MA, and died 11 Oct 1799, Hopkinton, MA, aged "perhaps 70" years. He had married firstly, 5 Oct 1749, Hopkinton, MA, Martha Stone, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Wood) Stone. She was born 12 Nov 1726, Hopkinton, and died about 1753. He married thirdly, Lois (Hayden) Harrod, 3 Sep 1767, Framingham, MA, daughter of John and Lucy (Maynard) Hayden, widow of John Harrod.
