Ebenezer Gould7 Whitney (Cornelius6, Cornelius5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Cornelius6 and Rhoda (Gould) Whitney, was born 27 Feb 1808, Mexico, NY, and died 9 Dec 1881, Mexico, NY.
He married, 16 Feb 1848, Maria Wickware. She was born 16 Jan 1824, and died 29 Nov 1886.
He was a farmer. He resided Mexico, NY.
Children of Ebenezer Gould7 and Maria (Wickware) Whitney:
i. Charles G.8 Whitney, b. 27 Jul 1856; unmarried; resided Easton, Adams County, WI. ii. Julia E. Whitney, b. 24 Sep 1861; unmarried; resided Mexico, NY. iii. Martha Alice Whitney, b. 14 Apr 1852; m. 20 Sep 1876, Wilfred A. Robbins, b. 24 Jan 1853. He is postmaster; resided Mexico, NY; s. p. iv. Etta Whitney, b. ----- (adopted).
