Luther6 Whitney (Joshua5, Eleazer4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Joshua5 and Betty (Wood) Whitney, was born 25 Jul 1780.
He married firstly, 13 Jan 1803, Hannah Gordon. She was born 24 Jun 1778, and died 13 Dec 1804.
He married secondly, Nabby Wood. She was born 9 May 1777, and died 16 Jan 1816.
He resided Henniker, Canaan, and Washington, NH, and Saratoga, NY.
Children of Luther6 and Hannah (Gordon) Whitney:
i. Hannah7 Whitney, b. 1804; d. 10 Oct 1804.
Children of Luther6 and Nabby (Wood) Whitney:
ii. Hannah Whitney, b. 7 Nov 1807. iii. Livonia Whitney, b. 13 Jun 1809. iv. Orpha Whitney, b. -----; m. William Wood of New York. v. Martin Whitney, b. -----; resided Michigan.
