Leander B.10 Whitney (Joel Barnard9, Torrey8, Moses7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), born 21 Oct 1846.
He married, 31 Nov 1873, Jennie M. Rogers, born 2 Apr 1852.
He resides in Thompson on a part of the old homestead. Served with his father in County. F, 50th New York. Engineers, enlisting 16 Feb 1864, and being discharged June 13, 1865; resided Thompson, Pennsylvania.
Children of Leander B.10 and Jennie M. (Rogers) Whitney:
i. Allen C.11 Whitney, b. 29 Mar 1876. ii. Raymond L. Whitney, b. 28 Jun 1879. iii. Frank D. Whitney, b. 8 Mar 1881. iv. Archie C. Whitney, b. 13 Aug 1883; d. 7 Apr 1884. v. Harry W. Whitney, b. 8 Feb 1887.
