Ebenezer8 Whitney (Ebenezer7, Ebenezer6, Ebenezer5, Ezekiel4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Ebenezer7 and Anis (Kingsbury) Whitney; born Millbury, Massachusetts, 16 May 1818; married in New York City, Eliza Ann Robinson, born sept. 20, 1820, Ebenezer Whitney united with the First Congregational church, New Britain, Connecticut, 5 Jun 1853. Acted as chorister in our choir for several years with good success. He also taught singing in the reform school, Meriden, Connecticut, and later, in 1861, was connected with the reform school in Providence, Rhode Island; resided Patchogue, Long Island.

Children of Ebenezer8 and Eliza Ann (Robinson) Whitney:

i. George Henry9 Whitney, born ----- ; died aged 15 months.
