Edward C.⁹ Whitney (Nathan⁸, David⁷, Silas⁶, David⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Nathan⁸ and Abigail (Whitney) Whitney, was born 22 Oct 1817, Saint Armand, Canada.

He married firstly, 12 Dec 1839, East Franklin, VT, Elvira T. Yaw. She was born 5 Dec 1820, and died 10 Jul 1854.

He married secondly, Oct 1857, Huntington, VT, Eunice Brewster. She was born 1829, and died 8 May 1873.

He married thirdly, 15 May 1878, Martha York. She was born 8 Feb 1846.

He resided Jericho Centre, VT.
