Simon⁷ Whitney (Simon⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Simon⁶ and Lucy (Hammond) Whitney, was born 25 Nov 1795, Petersham, MA,^[1] and died 24 Jan 1846, Hingham, MA, aged 49 years 1 month 29 days.^[2]

He married, 7 Aug 1822, Duxbury, MA, Sarah Holmes.^[3] She was born 28 Aug 1805. She married secondly, Henry Dyer.^[4]

He resided Duxbury and Scituate, MA.
