Alexander5 Whitney (Eleazer4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Eleazer4 and Mary (Grow) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1751, Westborough, MA,[1] and died Henniker, NH.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 13 Jul 1776, Hopkinton, MA, for him "of Westborough" and Lois Carroll.[3] He married, 1 Aug 1776, Hopkinton, MA, Lois Carroll "of Hopkinton".[4] She was born circa 1755, possibly Hopkinton, MA. She was also known as Lois Carryl.

He lived in 1776 at Henniker, NH.

Pierce says the following:[5]

He served in the Revolutionary war in the Westboro company, commanded by Capt. WHEELOCK.
