Otis7 Whitney (Ebenezer6, Zachariah5, Zachariah4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Ebenezer6 and Rachel Perne (Rawson) Whitney, was born 1 Feb 1790, Montague, MA,[1] and died 6 Aug 1863, Montague, MA.

Marriage intentions were published 28 Mar 1817, Montague, MA, for him "of Montague" and Thirza Glazier "of Leverett".[2] He married, 11 Dec 1817, Montague, MA, Thirza Glazier. She was born 25 Jul 1796, Leverett, MA, and died 1 Sep 1863.

He resided Montague, MA.

Children of Otis7 and Thirza (Glazier) Whitney:

i. Marilla Ann8 Whitney, b. 13 Sep 1818; d. 13 Feb 1885; m. 31 Dec 1844, Montague, MA, Alpheus Moore[3]. He was b. 6 Mar 1819, Leverett, MA. Was a builder.
Ch.: Gilman Alpheus, b. 19 Dec 1845; resided Montague, MA, and Grand Rapids, MI; Wesley Fisk, b. 28 Sep 1854; m. 24 Oct 1886, Elsie Elizabeth Greenwood, b. Hubbardston, MA, 2 Jun 1858.
ii. Julia Maria Whitney, b. 14 Sep 1824; d. 5 Apr 1840, Montague, MA, aged 15 years.[4]
