Samuel⁶ Whitney (Moses⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Moses⁵ and Mary (Page) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1785, Gorham, ME, and died 1869, Morill, ME.

He married, 23 Dec 1810, Belfast, ME, Margaret Darrow. She was born 1790, and died Feb 1883.

He resided Belmont and Morrill, ME.
