Amos7 Whitney (Jonathan6, (prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan6, Jr., and Deborah (Higgins) Whitney, was born 28 Feb 1794, Lisbon, ME,[1] and died 12 Oct 1862.

He married, 3 Dec 1818, Canaan, ME, Hannah (or Anna or Annah or Anar) Done.[2] She was born about 1801, ME, and died after 1870, and apparently before 1880.

He resided in Kirkland and Hudson, ME. He was "of Newport" when he married.

30 Sep 1815, he bought land in Newport, ME

20 Aug 1821, he bought land in Corinth, ME
