Ingerson8 Whitney (Amos7, Jonathan6, (prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Amos7 and Hannah (?Doane?) Whitney, was born 30 May 1824, ME, and died 3 Jan 1890, Hudson, ME.

He married 30 May 1857, Hudson, ME, Celesthia Grey/Gray, daughter of James and Mahala (Nutt) Gray. She was born 1839, Bangor, ME, and died 22 Jun 1916, Bangor, ME.

Ingerson Whitney was a veteran of the Civil War. He and Celesthia are buried in the Village Cemetery in Hudson, ME.
