He "Ens." married, 28 May 1826, Corinth, ME, Nancy Fisher Skinner "both of Corinth",[1] daughter of Elijah and Sarah (Fisher) Skinner. She was born 25 May 1806, Corinth, ME,[2] and died 10 Mar 1886, CA.

About the year 1822 he bought land in East Corinth, ME, where he lived until the fall of 1875, when he moved to Santa Cruz, CA, where he died. He was a farmer; he resided Corinth, ME, and Santa Cruz, CA.
