Peter7 Whitney (Israel6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Israel6 and Susannah (Gary) Whitney, was born 16 Aug 1799, and died 13 Aug 1867, Dickinson, NY.
He married firstly, 3 Mar 1825, Lucinda Fisk. She was born 18 Mar 1810, and died 20 Apr 1839.
He married secondly, 24 Sep 1839, Laura Farr. She was born 17 Sep 1812, and died 12 Jan 1888.
He resided Dickinson, NY.
Children of Peter7 and Lucinda (Fisk) Whitney:
i. Helen8 Whitney, b. 25 Jun 1829. ii. Barney Whitney, b. 9 Jun 1832; m. Jane A. Wilbur. iii. Allen C. Whitney, b. 20 Dec 1837; d. 30 Sep 1860 [Pierce] or Sep 1859, Dickinson, NY, aged 21 of consumption[1].

iv. Fayette Whitney, b. 30 Jul 1840; d. 5 May 1867. v. Cyrus P. Whitney, b. 12 Feb 1843; m. Cynthia L. Davenport. d. 1927. vi. Byron Alden Whitney, b. 14 Jun 1845; m. Sally Rosina Hazen. vii. Lucina Whitney, b. 22 Oct 1848, d. 20 Apr 1858. She is buried in Sand Hill Cemetery in Dickinson, Franklin County, New York. viii. Justin A. Whitney, b. 5 Sep 1852; m. Emaline Hewitt.
