Samuel Curtis8 Whitney (David7, Elijah6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of David7 and Samaria (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 10 Feb 1822, Westborough, MA,[1] and died 23 Mar 1906, Upton, MA, aged 84 years 1 month 13 days, of cerebral apoplexy.[2] He was buried at Central Cemetery, Orange, MA.[3]

He married, 25 or 28 Nov 1847, Grafton, MA, Harriet Sophia Prentice, daughter of Rufus and Mary (-----) Prentice.[4] She was born 13 Oct 1828, Grafton, MA, died 15 Feb 1892, and was buried at Central Cemetery, Orange, MA.[5]

He resided Athol, MA, P. O. Box 520.
