Jonathan6 Whitney (Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Nathan5 and Abigail (Marstass) Whitney, was born 16 Jul 1761, Spencer, MA,[1] and died 1 Jan 1813, Hartford, VT.

He married firstly, 3 Mar 1785, Halifax or Hartford, VT, Mary Woodard,[2] daughter of Alpheus and Abigail (Harris) Woodward.

He married secondly, 9 or 19 Aug 1786, Hartford, VT, Lucy Woodard,[3] daughter of Alpheus and Abigail (Harris) Woodward. She died after 1820.
