Rufus7 Whitney (John6, Ephraim5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of John6 and Hannah (Bigelow) Whitney, was born 18 or 28 Aug 1793, Dover, VT,[1] and died 9 May 1863.

He married, 25 Dec 1826, Brandon, NY, Lois Miller. She was born 19 Mar 1790, and died 9 Mar 1865.

He was a farmer. He resided Bangor and Brandon, NY.
