Orlando⁶ Whitney (James⁵, [prob.] James⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of James⁵ and Mary (Thayer) Whitney, was born 30 Nov 1766, Winchester, NH, and died after 1840.

Marriage intentions were published 3 Sep 1791, Lunenburg, MA, for him "of Ludlow" and Asenath Stiles "of Lunenburg".^[1] He married 16 Feb 1792, Lunenburg, MA, or Ludlow, VT, Asaneth Stiles,^[2] daughter of Jacob and Abigail (Lincoln) Stiles. She was born 27 Jan 1768, Keene, NH, and died 14 Sep 1854, Kirby, VT.

He resided Ludlow and Saint Johnsbury, VT.
