Pierpont Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the son of Thomas and ----- (-----) Whitney, was born 1808, CT,[1] and died after 1880.

He married, 5 Dec 1832, Cuyahoga Co. or Trumbull Co., OH, Calfronia Burdick.[2] She was born 17 Apr 1810, NY, and died 9 Jun 1883, Bridgewater, OH.
