Francis Marion8 Whitney (Joel7, Ephraim6, Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Joel7 and Jane Elizabeth (Corthell) Whitney, was born 24 Dec 1834, Jonesboro, ME, and died 21 Sep 1905, Portland, ME.
He married (intentions 9 Oct 1858, Addison, ME), Catherine D. Sawyer. She was born 16 Sep 1840, Addison, ME, and died 20 Dec 1893, Jonesport, ME.
Francis and Catherine are buried in the Wiscogin Cemetery, Addison, ME.
