Newton8 Whitney (Nathan7, Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Nancy (Farwell) Whitney, was born, 22 Jul 1820, Harvard, MA,[1] or 2 Jul 1820,[2] or 26 Jul 1820.
He married firstly, 1848, Hampton Falls, NH, Mary Preble White. She was born 2 Jul 1829,[3] and died 9 Aug 1849, West Springfield, MA.[4]
He married secondly, 10 May 1868, Chicopee, MA, Mary L. (Davis) Hayward, daughter of Charles and Charlotte (-----) Davis.[5] She was born 12 Jul 1845, Kingston, ON.[6]
He is a farmer; resided Chicopee, MA, P.O. Box 60.
