Arthur J. Whitney, parentage unknown but probably son of Francis Whitney, was born circa 1800, NC, and died Aug 1858, Drew County, AR.
He married firstly, 2 Oct 1819, Franklin Co., MS, Anna Rowls/Rolls[1][2]
He married secondly, 20 Jul 1856, Drew Co., AR, Martha M. Hale[3]
