John Frank9 Whitney (John Franklin8, George Washington7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of John Franklin8 and Abba (Thompson) Whitney, was born 22 Feb 1886, Dana MA, and died 10 Feb 1974, Fitchburg MA.
He married 1911, Martha Ella Thompson. She was born about 1889.
John F. was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst when it was called Massachusetts Agricultural College. He subsequently worked as a civil engineer.
