Joshua Lafayette8 Whitney (John Rodman7, William6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of John Rodman7 and Catherine (Schoonover) Whitney, was born 5 Sep 1819 or 1818, and died 7 Jul 1887, PA.

He married, 2 Dec 1845, PA, Mehitable Head. She was born about 1823, NY, and died after 1870.

They later removed to Camden, then to Michigan, and lastly back to PA.
