Joel6 Whitney (Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan5 and Esther (Parkhurst) Whitney, was born 13 Nov 1766, Milford, MA, and died 31 Jan 1825, Seneca Castle, NY.

He married 4 Dec 1790, Conway, MA, Sybil Whitmore. She was born 21 Jun 1768, Torringford, CT, and died 11 May 1851, Seneca Castle, NY.

He was a well-to-do and respectable farmer and highly esteemed for his sterling integrity. He resided Conway, MA, and Seneca Castle, NY.
