Charles H.8 Whitney (Orange7, Jazaniah6, James5, [prob.] James4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Orange7 and Emeline (Harris) Whitney, was born 8 Mar 1843, Newport, NH, and died 22 May 1888, Fitchburg, MA.
He married Helen A. Wiswell, daughter of Isaac and Mary (Gibson) Wiswell. She was born 18 Aug 1849, Fitchburg, MA.
Charles H. was born to what would be a large family. He worked for his father Orange at the Phenix hotel. He later moved to Fitchburg, MA, and where shown on a Census list he worked as a laborer. It seems that he passed at the early age of 45. I hope to talk to an elder member of the the family for more information.
