Stephen⁶ Whitney (Alexander⁵, Eleazer⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Alexander⁵ and Lois (Carroll) Whitney; born 10 Jun 1792, Henniker, NH,^[1] and died 26 Oct 1864.

He married, 22 or 28 Feb 1825, Henniker, NH, Sarah Bailey.^[2] She was born 3 Mar 1801, and died Dec 1869. She likely married secondly, as "Sarah G. Whitney", 10 Mar 1866, Charlestown, NH, Benjamin Whipple.^[3]

He was a farmer. They resided Henniker, Claremont, and Newport, NH.
