Arthur Whitney, parentage unknown, born between 1755 and 1765,[1] died after 1810.[2]

He married, 25 Dec 1791, Washington Co., MD, Maria Weiss, daughter of George.[3] She was born between 1765 and 1774.[4] She was probably the Mary Whithney enumerated in Hagerstown in 1820.

Children of Arthur and Maria (Weiss) Whitney:

i. daughter Whitney, b. ca. 1784-1790; possibly this was a servant or some other relative, since she was born before Arthur's marriage to Maria.
ii. son Whitney, b. ca. 1790-1800. He was not enumerated with the family in 1810.
iii. daughter Whitney, b. ca. 1790-1794.
iv. son Whitney, b. ca. 1794-1800.
v. daughter Whitney, b. ca. 1794-1800. Listed with the family in 1800 and 1810.
