Charles H.12 Whitney (Ernest11 H., Charles10 H., Ernest H.9, Charles H.8, Orange7 Whitney, Jazaniah6 Whitney, James5, (prob.) James4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Ernest H.9 and Evi (Jeffers) Whitney, was born 3 April 1928, Fitchburg, MA, and died 4 July 1993, Bedford, MA.
He married, 16 June 1956, Fitchburg, MA, Marline C. Hawkins, daughter of Leroy S. and Clara O. (Roy) Hawkins. She was born 18 February 1933, Fitchburg, MA.
He was born to a farming family and lived in the same house that his father had grown up in. He entered the Air Force and as a crew chief he participated in the Berlin Air lift to give needed supplies and relief to the German people.
