Roland A.8 Whitney (Jacob7, Jacob6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jacob7 and Maria (Goldsmith) Whitney, was born 20 Mar 1817.

He married firstly, 31 Jul 1849, Eliza Hicks. She was born 16 Mar 1822, and died 13 Nov 1855.

He married secondly, 13 Apr 1858, Annie E. Lemon. She was born 28 Mar 1830.
