Dr. Ephraim7 Whitney (John6, Ephraim5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of John6 and Hannah (Bigelow) Whitney, was born 26 Feb 1805, Dummerston, VT, and died 20 May 1884, Massena, NY.
He married, 21 Dec 1834, Mary Ann Dennison. She was born 10 Jul 1808, and died 20 Feb 1880.
He graduated at Hanover College with high honors, attended lectures at Pittsfield, MA. With the exception of a short time at Canton, NY, and Detroit, MI, he practiced for over 50 years in Massena.
