David7 Whitney (Isaac6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaac6 and Polly (Fairbanks) Whitney, was born 9 Nov 1812, Springfield, VT, and died after 1850.
He married, 1 Jan 1837, Brookline, MA,[1] Cloe H. Farrington "both of Brookline". She was born about 1819, MA, and died after 1860.
They resided in Elmore, VT; "had sons Isaac and James Whitney".

i. David8 Whitney, b. ca. 1837, MA. ii. Susan Whitney, b. ca. Feb 1838, d. 19 Aug 1840, Brookline, MA, aged 18 months, of dysentery.[2] iii. Charles Whitney, b. ca. 1841, MA. iv. William F. Whitney, b. ca. Nov 1843, d. 20 Aug 1848, Brookline, MA, aged 4 years 9 months, of dysentery.[3] v. George Stephen Glover Whitney, b. 8 May 1846, Brookline, MA.[4] vi. William H.
