Jacob7 Whitney (Richard6, Richard5, Israel4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Richard6 and Sarah "Sally" (Holt) Whitney, was born 16 Feb 1797, Andover, VT, and died 24 Mar 1833, Weston, VT.

He married 11 Jan 1821, Weston, VT, Polly Watts, daughter of . She was born 13 Feb 1803, Weston, VT, and died 26 May 1884, Weston, VT.

After Jacob's death, Polly married Daniel Foster.
